Mississauga, Ontario, Canada - November 13, 2003 - Doxess
Doxess announced today that the company won Community Leadership Award at the 2003 Microsoft
for Partners IMPACT Awards gala event held on November 13th in Toronto.
The winner was selected from three nationwide finalists in the category by Microsoft Canada, and will
be featured on the Microsoft website, as well as the ICAN website. Microsoft will also donate $10,000
to the charity/non-profit organization as directed by the award winner.
"Out of all the submissions we received, Doxess stood out with its efforts and impact within the
Canadian marketplace," said Lora Gernon, Manager, Partner Sales & Marketing, Microsoft Canada Co.
"We are pleased to honour our resellers and solution providers under our new unified awards
program. This is an opportunity for Microsoft Canada to celebrate all resellers and solution
providers together and show appreciation for the positive effect they have on our customers."
Microsoft recognized Doxess as "an organization that demonstrates
outstanding contribution to the community, making a difference through
technical solution development."
Doxess won its category because of its innovative use of Microsoft technology
to help non-profit organizations harness the web to improve communications through
its ClubRunner web service.
"We are proud to have won this award for 2003 from Microsoft. I would like to thank the
development team who crafted a great product that gives users a rich experience
without the learning curve. Well done ClubRunner Team," said Adel Asterbadi, President of Doxess.
Using the Microsoft .NET framework, Doxess developed a Web-based communication tool
for non-profit organizations. The project has enabled volunteers of service organizations to
operate more efficiently and reduce costs, while providing a user-friendly web content management system.
Doxess, along with other category winners and finalists in each of the fourteen award categories, was honoured
at the Microsoft for Partners IMPACT Awards Gala on November 13th, 2003 in Toronto, Ontario.
